John Blake Riddle — Ambassador of Outdoors & Social Media

John Blake Riddle grew up in Amory, northeast Mississippi—a place he calls home, nestled along the Tenn-Tom Waterway. From a young age, the rhythms of river life shaped him: hunting ducks and quail, fishing, and training bird dogs became part of who he is. His early passion for the outdoors led to hands-on careers as a quail guide, duck guide, bird-dog trainer, and shooting instructor, mostly serving private clients and outdoor enthusiasts. 

His entrepreneurial side soon emerged in the form of "The Little Riddle," his own crappie jig company. Centered around handmade jigs—designed for maximum effectiveness and resilience—it became a local success and a small business with growing reach. 

In what many describe as being “naturally himself,” John posted a casual TikTok clip—only to go viral overnight. The video amassed millions of views, transforming him into a social media ambassador almost by surprise. Today, he bridges the worlds of rural outdoor life and digital media, connecting with widespread audiences through honest, down-to-earth storytelling.
